Phenomenon-based instruction and 3-D teaching. These are just two of the components in the upcoming new MN Science Standards that have many of us concerned about teaching science in our classrooms. In this workshop, we will work to answer two main questions: What am I supposed to teach and how am I supposed to teach? We will clarify the changes to the new standards and their impact in our classrooms, identify content expectations by grade band, and review resources for classroom support.
