• Why: Explain why adult learning theory helps motivate the adult learner.
• What: Articulate the principles of adult learning theory and PD best practices.
• How: Apply adult learning models to your practice of PD development.
• Apply: Create a framework that supports the use of adult learning theory in your context.
• For the next session: Use one of the frameworks you learned and bring it to the next session.

There will be a brief "DELTA" leadership meeting starting at 1:30.The agenda will include discussion and recap of the morning session along with a focus on Native American curriculum resources and our regional vetted technology applications.

• Why: Explain why facilitation is a useful method for effective adult learning.
• What: Know what facilitation is and is not.
• How: Know how to work effectively as a facilitator. (ORID)
• Apply: Will know how to apply the principles of facilitation to a training/conversation.

• What: Know the differences between and uses of three primary dialogue models.
• How: Explore Structured Conversation for Decision Making, Building Consensus in Teams, and Developing Plans and Processes.
