AFWERX is partnering with Installation Mission Support Center (IMSC) for the 2023 Innovation Industry Days. With a focus on emerging technologies, this event will provide training sessions on how to navigate this innovation ecosystem, as well as connecting Government, Academia and Industry stakeholders to help emerging technology break into the federal government and solve DAF problems.
Spanning three days, January 24th - 26th, featured speakers and panel members will provide training and education opportunities to industry and academia including:

Why Should Government Come?
Government employees will have the opportunity to hear directly from DAF senior leaders as well as 100+ experts from across the Innovation ecosystem. The event is set up for maximum flexibility with dozens of breakout rooms covering numerous topics, enabling members to participate in whichever topics interest them.
Additionally, government employees will have the opportunity to engage directly with academia and industry. The most recent AFWERX Phase I Open Topic Cohort will be in attendance. Use this event to make connections and identify small businesses and academic institutions that can help move the needle on your important projects, leveraging AFWERX's Contracting & Finance offices.
Finally, there will be representatives at this event from all across the innovation ecosystem to include: all Spark Cells, MAJCOM Innovation Cells, PEO Innovation Cells, DAF Software Factories, Numerous Acquisition Organizations, Joint Innovation Teams, and many more.
Why Should Industry/Academia Come?
Industry/Academia will have the opportunity to attend dozens of training rooms focused on helping them understand and navigate the Federal Government. Topics will include; Contracting, Finance, Acquisition, SBIR/STTR, STRATFI/TACFI, AFRL/MAJCOM/PEO Overviews, and many more.
In addition to innovation training, attendees will benefit from the opportunity to engage with government stakeholders directly about their technology and problem areas for potential use case discovery. Government partners will be available in main and breakout sessions highlighting successes, failures, lessons learned, and paths they have taken to successfully implement projects. Functional experts in civil engineering, services, security forces, personnel, contracting, finance, acquisition, and the Air Force Research Laboratory will also be available to provide guidance as you work to pave a path towards sustainment for your technology.
Successful Industry innovation projects, currently in progress with USAF and DoD partners, will be highlighted in the expo hall. Industry participants include: Defense Primes, Silicon Valley Tech Leaders, Venture Capital Firms, Incubators/Accelerators, Emerging Tech Companies, and many more.
