The Big Ten Academic Alliance is looking forward to hosting the APLU's Annual Faculty Affairs Retreat to be held at the Big Ten Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois on June 7 - 9, 2023! 

The retreat is organized by the APLU's Committee on Faculty Affairs. The retreat is an excellent opportunity for faculty affairs administrators and professionals to come together to explore common challenges and opportunities to build up our growing community of practice. The retreat will feature a mix of research-based presentations, dissemination of best practices, and case study discussions on different elements of these topics:

• Advancing higher education's mission in today's climate
• Addressing academic bullying
• Faculty exit and retention
• Supporting faculty members throughout their career
• Growing and advancing in faculty affairs

Registration is open to APLU members and non-members. Priority deadline for registering is May 10, 2023. Lodging at conference rate guaranteed until May 10, 2023 and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after the 10th. Registration closes May 31, 2023. No cancellation refunds will be honored after June 2, 2023.
