Welcome!

We're on the road again! Join us at Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts this summer for a two-day, content-packed conference. Take in the beautiful scenic views from the newly renovated lodge when learning from seasoned trainers. In the evenings, stroll the grounds or drive to the nearby Sheldon March Nature Preserve to birdwatch. Like to golf? Challenge a colleague to a game on the world-class course designed by the famed American golf course architect Tom Fazio.


The conference begins Tuesday, July 18, and ends Wednesday, July 19, 2023. We are taking advantage of the condensed conference schedule to offer plenary sessions and worksheets structured to the latest Community Action news and trends. Hear from Ohio Department of Development staff on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a meeting with your Community Action District and the OACAA membership meeting. On Wednesday, hear from the CAPLAW, the National Community Action Foundation, and OACAA about their work and services to the Community Action Network. Head to one of four plenary sessions before lunch and a final plenary session. Check back later to see the full agenda.
