While the reasons that bring people to Camp Widow® are tragic, the event truly is packed with understanding and community, and we'd love to be able to assist you in joining us. 

If after reading through the options below, you believe that one of these options will enable you to join us at one of our camp events, please complete an application by selecting the "register" button above. 

Please note that Soaring Spirits raises the funds for every Campership that is awarded, so we kindly request that you select the option below that would provide the level of funding that would enable you to join us. The cut-off date for campership requests is January 1, 2024 for full camperships and February 15th at 6:00AM for half camperships.

OPTIONS:

• Half Campership: Provides a $350 subsidy for any person for whom this level of support would make attending one of our camps possible. If this option would work for you, your campership will be immediately approved, and you will receive a link that will allow you to register for the Camp Widow event at the discounted rate of $350.

• Full Campership: If you require more assistance to attend Camp Widow, please know that we do our best to provide as many $700 camperships as possible for each event that is dependent on received funding. This will allow you to attend the event at no cost (excluding travel and hotel). Applications are added to the waiting list in the order that they are received. It is possible that a registered camper may be unable to attend camp at the last minute or that an angel donor would fund a number of campers attendance in the days ahead of the event.

Please note that we are currently unable to provide travel or housing assistance at this time. Our camperships fund only the registration portion of the camp program. Our room block is almost sold out so please take that into consideration when applying.

*COVID-19 MANAGEMENT POLICY:

Each camper assumes the risk in regards to exposure to COVID-19 due to their attendance at our event. We will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination status or proof of a negative test. However, in order to create a safe physical space that supports emotional wellbeing, for which Camp Widow is known, we highly recommend that each camper considers a self test prior to leaving for camp. Please be prepared with a contingency plan should you test positive for COVID-19. Each camper will be responsible for themselves should they need to quarantine or be unable to attend Camp Widow due to a positive test result.

Please note: ADA compliant service animals and certified therapy dogs may be on site throughout this event. No other animals will be permitted.
