United Way Nonprofit Connection again partners with Dini Spheris to review the 2023 GIVING USA report. This annual presentation has become a tradition and we look forward to sharing the results of the newly released report. 

For more than 60 years, nonprofit leaders have been depending on GIVING USA to provide the most timely and relevant data available on charitable giving. The 2023 report will provide critical insight into the post-pandemic impact on philanthropy and what nonprofits may anticipate for fundraising ahead.

You can use the results of the 2023 report to:

MEET THE PRESENTERS

Holly Lang, Principal

Holly joined Dini Spheris in 2006. Since that time has honed her consulting practice in major gifts fundraising, campaign strategy, leadership development and strategic planning. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Holly moved to Houston, Texas, to attend Rice University. After graduating from Rice, Holly worked with her alma mater in the development office, focusing on young alumni and annual giving. One of her most memorable accomplishments involved helping a recently merged organization raise $30 million a matter of only 12 months.

Holly teaches an eight-week fundraising course at the University of Houston Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. She also is an instructor at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership.

Victor Brooks, Consultant

Victor spent several years working with physicians, researchers and executives in the Texas Medical Center. As a project manager at Houston Methodist Hospital, Victor helped to develop the initial plans for the hospital’s $500 million centennial campaign. He helped create and lead multi-million dollar initiatives at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center.
