CADETS APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS:
If you are in need of financial assistance, scholarships may be available for you to attend BCS/ATS. Please visit cawgcadets.org/scholarships for more information on scholarships and application procedures. Awards from the Lt Col Tony Upton Scholarship or the Cadet Character and Leadership Foundation (CCLF) Scholarship may be applied toward BCS/ATS. If you are registering for BCS/ATS with a scholarship, please apply for the scholarship first. Then email the BCS/ATS Project Officer (James.Hockel@cawgcap.org) with your name and the scholarship you have applied for.
REQUIRED FORMS:
All students must complete CAPF 60-81 (click here to download), CAPF 160 (click here to download), and CAPF 161 (click here to download). Cadets under 18 must also complete CAPF 163 (click here to download). Civil Air Patrol forms can also be found at gocivilairpatrol.com/members/publications/forms.
REFUNDS:
No refunds will be granted after the registration deadline unless exceptional circumstances are demonstrated. Any refunds after the registration deadline will be limited to the amount not yet spent. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the BCS/ATS Project Officer (James.Hockel@cawgcap.org). All refunds will be processed following the end of the activity.
PACKING LIST:
After your registration is processed, you will receive an acceptance packet via email. That packet will include the BCS/ATS packing list. Failure to bring all required items from that list will limit your ability to participate fully in the BCS/ATS activities.
PLEASE NOTE:
- All personal items should be marked with an indelible pen/marker with the participant's CAP ID number or name.
- Prior to BCS/ATS, it is critical that the participant’s boots are properly “broken in” and will last the entire BCS/ATS period to lessen the likelihood of foot problems.
- Participants are expected to arrive with a haircut that complies with uniform regulations. Please consult your unit commander if you are unsure if your haircut is regulation compliant.
