THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

This session delves into the “how” of leadership, leveraging the vast experience that academic leaders bring to the table. It encourages participants to reflect on and refine their own leadership styles through shared insights and practical applications.

Participants will explore how leaders with various executive leadership styles have navigated challenges faced by deans, gaining insights on strategies that were effective or ineffective. They will also exchange advice on how to address common obstacles in their own roles.

A key focus on the program is on developing strategies to engage others in advancing the vision for their school or college. Participants will discuss how to optimize resources – such as time, money, people, space, and technology – to achieve their goals. Deans will have the opportunity to define their priorities and collaborate in small groups to identify actionable steps for progress.

The day concludes with discussions of how participants can empower and collaborate with others to carry out their work and develop trust despite organizational and personal impediments.
