Program Summary:
Soft Tissue Around Dental Implants: Esthetic and Non-Esthetic Considerations” will provide an in-depth look at managing soft tissue around dental implants. Participants will learn how to assess gingival and mucosal tissues surrounding existing implants and recognize when a referral to a periodontist for soft tissue grafting is necessary. Additionally, the program will focus on the rationale behind soft tissue grafting during immediate implant placements, with attention to both esthetic and non-esthetic zones. Attendees will gain practical insights into optimizing implant outcomes through effective soft tissue management.

Learning Objectives
About Dr. Chase Taylor:
Dr. Taylor is originally from Alabama where he attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham earning a Master of Science in biology and neuroscience and Bachelor of Science in biology, with minors in chemistry and psychology. From Alabama, Dr. Taylor moved to Arizona to attend dental school at A.T. Still University - Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. During dental school, Dr. Taylor found his passion for periodontics and was accepted to the University of Florida's Periodontics and Implant Dentistry residency. After completing residency, Dr. Taylor became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and works in private practice specializing in periodontics, implant dentistry and oral plastic surgery.
