SVC Bearcat Swim Camp 2025
SVC Bearcat Swim Camp 2025
Saint Vincent College
Sun, June 22, 2025 @ 02:00 PM — Thu, June 26, 2025 @ 12:00 PM (EDT)
THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

The Bearcat Swim Camp at Saint Vincent College is open to any entrants. For your safety and benefit we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. USS age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast, and freestyle.

STROKE DEVELOPMENT CAMP:

This camp is not a "learn to swim" program, it is designed for competitive swimmers ages 10-18 looking to improve their strokes, starts, and turns. Camp will be limited to 50 attendees, so we encourage you to register soon!

  • $500 for overnight participants includes lodging, meals, and a tee shirt
  • $400 for commuter participants includes lunch, dinner, and a tee shirt

ELITE SPRINT CAMP:

This camp emphasis is designed to take your sprint events to the next level. Led by SVC's Head Swim Coach, Josh Gurekovich, athletes will learn the same drills the team uses that have produced All-Americans, NCAA National Qualifiers, and Conference Champions in all strokes. The sprint camp will have a high focus on generating speed and power in all four strokes, starts, and turns.

Campers will have daily training sessions in the pool, as well as educational classroom experience. Classroom sessions will be used to discuss and analyze the different techniques needed to become a premier sprinter. In the pool, athletes will learn highly technical drills, and utilize specialized sprinting equipment that will teach campers the key to generating more speed and power during racing. All major components of sprint races will be discussed including starts, turns, finishes, and race strategies

  • $530 for overnight participants includes lodging, meals, and a tee shirt
  • There is no commuter option for this camp
