The City of Irvine is excited to celebrate community, connection, and clean air through its third annual car-free open streets event, CicloIrvine, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Residents are invited to stroll, bike, and roll along a 1.3-mile car-free stretch of Irvine Boulevard between Culver Drive and Parkwood. 

CicloIrvine highlights the City’s commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and environmentally conscious means of travel and encourages participants to experience Irvine’s public spaces and local businesses in a new and reimagined way with live music, art, and engaging activities for all.  

Street closures for CicloIrvine will begin overnight and will be in place throughout the day Saturday, May 2. Access to The Groves will remain available via Parkwood off of Irvine Boulevard.

Booth Exhibitors

CicloIrvine is looking for Booth Exhibitors to host family-friendly activities that will delight attendees of all ages. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your brand, engage with the community, and contribute to the event's vibrant atmosphere. An in-kind activity or giveaway valued at a minimum of $650 is required for participation.

Food Vendors

CicloIrvine is seeking food vendors to help enhance the event experience by offering a variety of freshly prepared food and beverage options for attendees. As participants walk, bike, and roll along the route, food vendors will provide convenient, grab-and-go items that are easy to enjoy while exploring the event.

Entertainment

CicloIrvine is seeking entertainment for all ages including live music, street and stage performances, demonstrations, dance groups, and so much more! Whether you're a musician, dancer, performer, or artist, this event is a great platform to showcase your talents to the community in a fun and festive atmosphere.

The City of Irvine reserves the right to accept or deny applications based on event needs. Applications must be received by March 31, 2026* for consideration. 

*Applications are subject to close prior to the deadline if the event capacity is reached.
