Through the generosity of the Johnston & Weinstein families, a fund has been established at the Central New York Community Foundation in memory of Gail Weinstein, Upstate Emergency Medicine’s former paramedic program director to promote Emergency Medical Services education. Through this generous act, Upstate Emergency Medicine has developed the Weinstein EMS Lecture Series. An annual lecture series focused on providing our Central New York first responders with a learning opportunity focused on patient-centered medicine, responder safety, and quality of care. 

Upstate Medical University's Department of Emergency Medicine is happy to bring you the Weinstein EMS Lecture Series: Trauma!

We are collaborating with our future Physicians in our Residency program and our EMS education department for a combined topic of trauma.

We will be highlighting field and pre-hospital care trauma ranging from accidents, burns and spinal injuries. This collaborative effort will be a great way to highlight the different methods and ways our first responders and hospital care physicians work together for a successful care routine.

We invite all from every agency and programs to attend and sit in on these lectures.
