The 2019 Big Ten Academic Alliance Library Conference, Equitable Access: Accessibility Driving Innovation in Libraries, will showcase recent consortial work in accessibility, support skill building in areas of interest, and invite nationally recognized speakers to provide historical and cultural context for our work. Programming will include:


  • Progress reports from the Library Electronic Resources Accessibility Group
  • Skill building sessions on accessible practices in library instruction and customer service
  • Keynotes on the importance of disability in the design of technologies and information


This event will fill a gap in existing opportunities for training, collaboration and knowledge sharing for library professionals interested in accessibility.
