2019 RootSkills Spring Workshop
2019 RootSkills Spring Workshop
New England Grassroots Environment Fund
Sat, May 18, 2019 @ 08:00 AM — 06:30 PM (EDT)

THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

The Grassroots Fund supports change makers who not only experience marginalization but face systemic and structural barriers to traditional funding. We’re investing in individuals, groups and organizations working across a broad range of environmental and social justice issues that traditional funders often overlook. And we encourage them to take creative approaches to challenging existing systems.

The RootSkills series is about building networks. We’re strengthening movements by making powerful, intersectional connections between a broad spectrum of participants all working towards a common goal. The workshop agenda and learning objectives are co-created by a planning committee. An open call to our networks for workshop sessions has resulted in offerings that are about helping grassroots organizers develop their own solutions to complex environmental and social justice issues that affect where they live. Workshop sessions are both process- and issue-based.

We want your voice, your perspective here! Please join us and other grassroots organizers as we take on a shared responsibility to reduce our impact on the planet and improve the lives of the people who live here. Contribute to identifying, selecting and accessing the specific tools, resources and connections needed to create healthy, sustainable and resilient communities.
