Transferable Skills - You Have to Connect the Dots

Looking to move to a different career field? Or a different type of job in the same industry? Frustrated because no one seems to see why you would be a good fit?

They may not even understand what your past positions were and therefore what you know what knowledge and skills you have. They are working as hard and fast as they can to fill a position. Don’t expect them to connect the dots.

You have to.

By attending this session you will learn:

·       How to identify your Gifts/Talents/Skills/Experiences and how to differentiate them from telling people what your jobs were

·       Determine what potential options are—where you can “fit” based on the Gifts/Talents/Skills/Experiences

·       Create a strategy to “connect the dots” including your Resume’, cover letter, LinkedIn and other parts of the job search.
