Innovation is defined as “the process of making changes to something established by introducing something new.” It applies to “…radical or incremental changes to products, processes or services.” 


The Minnesota Learning Commons Innovation Special Interest Group is for Educators (K-12 and Post-Secondary) who are interested in exploring education related innovations. This SIG is guided by the Big Question: How should we define, identify and encourage Innovation in our education related settings? This SIG meets online 3-4 times per year and is facilitated by Stephen M. Kelly, Open Education and Innovation Program Coordinator, Academic and Student Affairs, Minnesota State stephen.kelly@minnstate.edu and David Paschke, Socrates Managing Director, South Central Service Cooperative dpaschke@mnscsc.org
