Recognizing the need to provide legal-based, quality training for line level staff throughout the state of Alabama, Alabama Jail Administrators’ Council (AJAC) and National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO) developed the Alabama Basic Corrections Academy. ABC Academy offers 72 hours of training combining online training with live training taught by some of the top experts in corrections.
