As part of the 125 clock-hour requirement for license renewal, the Minnesota Legislature, by statute, requires ALL teachers to show evidence in specific areas to renew a license.

These sessions are offered in one day and the times and areas are:

     1. Cultural Competency* 8–9 a.m.

     2. Early Warning Signs of Mental Illness 9–10 a.m.

     3. Suicide Prevention 10–11 a.m.

     4. English Language Learners 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

     5. Reading Preparation 1–2 p.m.

     6. PBIS/Accommodations 2–3 p.m.

* If attending Cultural Competency, you will receive additional instructions on assignments that need to be completed in advance of attending the session (a self-assessment and multiple readings).

Participants may register for all six areas for $350 or choose individual sessions for $60. Each session will have a set of materials for further study. Lunch is on your own.
