Unfortunately, this new wave of COVID-19 has hit our team hard and our speaker has become very ill. Due to the severity of the situation, we are rescheduling the Parent Session for February 10th at 5:30 PM. The Child Session will remain on February 3rd at 5:30 PM. We appreciate your understanding.
Bullying has been one of the biggest challenges that our children face in schools. With the COVID-19 pandemic, research has found that children are being bullied at a higher rate across all types of bullying (physical, verbal, social and cyberbullying). Cyberbullying has increased exponentially and is one of the most dangerous types of bullying. How can we help and protect our children from being a victim of bullying? What can I do as a parent to advocate for my child? I think my child may be bullying others, how can I help them change their attitude towards others? If you have had any of these questions, then our Bullying Webinar series is a great resource for you!
There will be two sessions in this series, the first session is focused on parent education, and the second session is geared towards children to increase their understanding of bullying and the effects, as well as strategies to develop a plan for if they encounter bullying. Session 1 is required to attend Session 2. The goal of the Bullying Webinar Series is to empower parents, families, and create safer communities.
