COVID-19 Exposure at COVA Conference
It has come to our attention that some of the COVA staff who participated in the 34th Annual COVA Conference (Oct. 23-26, 2022) have recently tested positive for COVID-19. Whether you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or are asymptomatic, if you attended the COVA Conference, we encourage you to get tested and to follow current CDC guidelines: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/if-you-were-exposed.html
Know Before You Go
With on-going public health concerns regarding COVID-19, COVA is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, attendees, speakers, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, and vendors. We strongly encourage ALL participants to be fully vaccinated and boosted, if eligible, or, if not vaccinated, to wear a mask at all times, except while actively eating/drinking. If you are experiencing symptoms, we ask that you immediately take all necessary precautions such as getting tested, wearing a mask, and if needed, refraining from attending sessions and exposing other attendees. Masks will be made available at the COVA office in Crestone 1. For local testing sites, please visit https://www.summitcountyco.gov/1505/Where-Can-I-Get-Tested.
