On behalf of the Athabascan tribes of Interior Alaska, the Tanana Chiefs Conference welcomes you to the Intertribal Timber Council’s 45th Annual National Indian Timber Symposium being held at the Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks, Alaska. This year’s theme “Connecting Tribes and Land Management,” is intended to highlight the importance of land and natural resource management in the health of today’s tribal governments. The scheduled workshops, presentations, and field tours are relevant to the forestry and land management challenges faced by tribes across the country, as well as our tribes here in Alaska. We hope you enjoy and learn from the symposium, engage in various social activities through the week, and meet and learn from our fellow tribal foresters and land managers. Having daylight for over 20 hours per day should help in terms of fitting it all in, so come prepared for a busy and full week here in Fairbanks.
Make sure you register early! There is a max attendee limit of 200 event-wide due to space limitations at the hotel.
