"Value, Workforce, Integration: Connecting the Dots to Unify Alaska's Healthcare"
Alaska is a wide and expansive place with unique people spread out over 663 thousand square miles; however, we are all connected by our love for Alaska and our neighbors. As we begin a new year, Alaska Primary Care Association is reflecting on how Alaskan healthcare can bring the most value to the workforce and expand our communities through intentional integration.

The Three Steps to Beating Ransomware
The Three Steps to Beating Ransomware
Criminal ransomware extortion gangs are targeting healthcare organizations everyday with ransomware. It's time to make sure you're ready to defend your patients, employees, and business. In this presentation, you'll see the three very important steps to building a strong anti-ransomware program: Preventing, Detecting, and Responding. Most organizations focus too much on prevention without putting enough resources in detecting and responding. By focusing on all three steps, you'll be ready when the criminals get in. That means you'll limit the impact on patients, avoid ransom payments, and keep your business running. We'll take you through real-world scenarios in which healthcare organizations stopped cybercriminals, and we'll show you how they did it, so you can too. |

Protecting the Financial Health of your FQHC
Protecting the Financial Health of your FQHC
As our healthcare providers of all types come out of the COVID-19 pandemic having spent down any supplemental money that they had received and find themselves in an environment where revenue generation is becoming more and more challenging at the same time their costs centers are growing at an alarming rate to make their operating margins increasingly difficult to protect, there has never been a more important time for the patient care industry to learn how other successful industries use their quality programs to protect the money they can make and how they get to spend it. It is the time for all providers to learn the importance of managing money and quality like they are two sides of the same coin where the strength of one's quality program is central to protecting the health of the bottom line. |
