WDVA Applications of E2SHB1181 (Suicide Prevention – Veterans and Military Members)

Listening Session Series #1 – “Resource Database”

On June 9^th, 2022 Engrossed Second Substitute House Bill 1181, also known as Suicide Prevention – Veterans and Military Members, took effect as law. This bill creates various support for Military and Veteran suicide prevention through easier access to resources and online education/training as well as creating an account to invest in current evidence-based/promising practices within the community through a grant program. We are offering a series of three (3) listening sessions to hear feedback from the community and provide information regarding the implementation and applications of E2SHB1181. Each listening session will be revolve around a topic pertaining to a section of the bill. We invite you to come with your questions and feedback for our team to ensure collaboration!
