Program Description:

The intent of this specially designed program is to provide extensive, quality, up-to-date information required for the management of toxicologic problems.

This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other health care providers who routinely care for poisoned patients.



Course Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to

  1.  Appropriately apply indications with respect to identifying a patient suffering from drug induced toxicities due to emerging toxins in 2022.
  2.   Identify the areas of toxicity seen after intentional generic changes as seen in gene warfare.
  3.   Identify treatment options for acute pain for those treated for opioid use disorder using medication assisted therapies.

SUNY Upstate Medical University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)  to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


Credit Designation
