This is a beginner’s course designed for those with little to no electrical or controls training. This course will introduce the basic concepts of electricity and its practical use. Concepts covered in this training are: Understanding electrical theories and terms, such as ohms law voltage, current, resistance, potential and flow, the use of meters for testing voltage, amperage and resistance, basic circuit and basic electrical symbols, motors, switches, and other electrical loads.
Basic electrical safety will also be covered.
Registration closes one week prior to start date. If minimum number of students is not met, Behler-Young reserves the right to cancel the class. Students will be notified by the email entered at registration.
