Description

This two hour virtual session is an early introduction to the Literacy Learning for Leaders workshop series for our regional administrators and school leaders. Participants will learn about the four part workshop series, help shape the focus of the upcoming workshops, and be given access to the workshop materials in case they wish to use some of them during fall workshops.

Principals, Curriculum / Teaching and Learning Directors and Learning Coaches, Superintendents

Workshop Series

The full workshop series includes 14 content focused video modules grouped into 4 units: Unit 1: The Science of Reading (offered August 7); Unit 2: MTSS (offered Sept 25); Unit 3: LETRS (offered Oct 23), and Unit 4: Every Voice Counts (offered Nov 15). Each unit will include a facilitated conversation that will take a deeper dive into the content and consider ways to utilize the information within your school and district.  

Through a generous partnership between the Higher Education Literacy Partnership (HELP) and the University of Minnesota’s Principals Academy (MPA), we are able to offer this professional learning opportunity for our regional administrators and school leaders.
