Please join us for a very special educational symposium sponsored by Chicago Medical School's Office of Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion. The topic for this year's Race and Medicine Symposium will be Maternal Mortality in Illinois, and will take place both in-person and virtually on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, beginning at 6:00 pm CDT. This panel discussion will examine how the social determinants of health negatively impact Black maternal outcomes across Illinois, with a special focus on Lake County. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible for this special conversation.
