Compliance Essentials Class: Mortgage Loan Originator Compliance

Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) are required by section 1026.36 of Regulation Z to have "periodic training covering Federal and State law requirements that apply to the individual loan originator's loan origination activities." This month's Compliance Essentials class is designed to meet this requirement.

Join our Compliance Specialist, Heather Line, as she covers laws and regulations that MLOs need too know, including:

• Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B)
• Fair Housing Act
• Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (Reg C)
• Regulation Z
• SAFE Act
• Flood Insurance
• Customer/Member Identification Program
• HELOCs

Logistics

• This will be a FOUR hour class, including a half hour lunch break.
• This class will be held in person and online.
• Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
• An email with a link to the Zoom meeting and class documents will be sent out registered online participants prior to the class.
• This class is free of charge to all credit unions that are Association members. 
• Can't attend? No problem. A recording of the class and class materials will be available after the class.
