The 42nd Annual Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, on February 29, March 1 & 2, 2024. Sessions include optional pre-conference concurrent half-day presentations in the morning and afternoon on Thursday. On Friday morning is a keynote session, The Importance of Choosing to Work with Children Who Hurt: The Strategic Use of Self by Dr. Richard Van Acker (program update, January 25, 2024), followed by four sets of concurrent breakout sessions. In the late afternoon, a large set of poster presentations and new this year Table Talks, appetizers, and a cash bar. Later in the evening is the popular evening Symposium Party with a lip sync battle, DJ, and dancing. On Saturday, choose one two-hour session to conclude the Symposium.
