This class is for all mobile crane types: Swing Cab (TLL), Fixed Cab (TSS), Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC), Lattice Boom Truck (LBT), Service Truck Crane (STC), Articulating Boom Crane (ABC), Articulating Boom Crane w/winch (ABW). Crane Operator classes prepare students for the written exams required for NCCCO certification. This four-day course will include: a three-day preparation class, written and practical examinations. Please note: depending on class size this class may be scheduled to be a five day long course. Practical exams are held on Tuesday & written exams are held on Friday. Practical examinations for the (LBC) & (LBT) will be scheduled and paid for on a different date separate from the class schedule.

For a full explanation of the NCCCO testing process and requirements for testing, the "Candidate Handbook" can be downloaded at www.nccco.org Registered students may be transferred to the next scheduled class with an acceptable “letter of excuse” that is approved by NCCCO. If a student wishes to cancel registration a processing fee of $750.00 will be incurred. All rescheduled Practical Exams will have a $100 re-scheduling fee.

A fuel surcharge will be added to the invoice, amounts vary based off number of exams and if practice time is purchased.

If you are a currently certified crane operator, and your certification has not lapsed, please choose a re-certification for the appropriate crane type. If you have never been certified, or if you are certifying for a new crane type, please choose the new candidate for the appropriate crane type. NOTE: If there are any significant weather changes, all outside events will be postponed until further notice due to the fact that we have no control over the weather. As with all cranes and other mechanical equipment, unexpected issues can present themselves at any time and cause unforeseen delays and/or cancellations. All attempts will be made to reschedule events at a convenient time for all parties if an event occurs during a scheduled practice time or exam session.
