Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification Training

Identity.  Understand.  Respond.

Geared towards adults who work with youth ages 12-18, this skills-based training course focuses on how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges they may see in the youth in their care.  The training will teach you how to apply the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Action Plan.

Course components include:  full participation in both virtual sessions with camera on and two (2) hours of pre-work which will lead to certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid by Mental Health First Aid USA (from National Council for Mental Wellbeing).
