The City of Irvine, in partnership with South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, will gather the community for the fourth annual Mid-Autumn Festival to participate in a thousand-year-old tradition. Explore unique cultural displays and discover valuable resources provided by local community organizations. This family-friendly festival includes education, live entertainment, crafts, specialty food trucks, and artistic demonstrations.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival. Held under the full moon, it is an annual festival traditionally celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian cultures as a way to give thanks for the year's bountiful harvest. It is a holiday that brings families together to enjoy holiday treats and celebratory activities.
Come celebrate the diversity of Irvine and enjoy an evening with family, friends, and neighbors.
