This program is designed to provide insights into the challenges involved with restoring dental implants including material selection and restorative options. The goal is to offer an understanding of the critical factors influencing the success of dental implants and the available choices for both clinicians and patients. 1. Material Selection for Dental Implants: An in-depth discussion on the selection of materials used for dental implants, including titanium, zirconia, and hybrid options. Participants will learn how to select the best material based on patient needs, such as bone quality, esthetic demands, and long-term durability.
2. Restorative Options for Dental Implants: This segment will explore the different restorative options available for implants, focusing on both single and multi-unit restorations. Participants will gain an understanding of crown, bridge, and full-arch prostheses, as well as the role of abutments in customizing restorations.
3. Patient-Centered Treatment Planning: Emphasizing the importance of personalized treatment planning, this segment will focus on how clinicians should tailor implant placement, material selection, and restorative options to individual patients.
4. Managing Complications and Challenges: The program will cover potential complications during and after implant placement, including infection, implant failure, and peri-implantitis. Techniques for troubleshooting common challenges in material selection and restorative procedures will be presented, with strategies for managing patient expectations and handling complex cases.
5. Advancements in Implantology: This segment will highlight the latest advancements in implant technology, including the development of new materials, implant designs, and digital workflows that improve both the precision of implant placement and the aesthetics of the final restoration.

About Dr. Ira Langstein:
Dr. Langstein has lectured extensively on dental implants, speaking for local, regional,
and international study groups, along with national dental implant conferences. He has
given talks on the restorative aspects of implant dentistry, focusing on prosthetic and
digital solutions and treatment planning for dental implant systems. An emphasis is
placed on assisting surgeons and restorative dentists collaborate efficiently along the
digital workflow.
