Cybersecurity: A Business Risk, Not an IT Problem

Hosted by: The Charles Stamp Cyber Command Center at Southeast Missouri State University with special guest Nathan Littlepage.

Nathan Littlepage is a cybersecurity and telecom veteran with over 30 years of experience designing and securing large-scale voice and data networks. A former Army communications and counterintelligence agent, he now leads QNS, where he integrates AI-driven intelligence, adversarial insight, and field-tested engineering to build resilient, business-aligned security programs. He holds certifications including Certified Associate CISO, NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks, and AI Infrastructure Operations."

This isn’t about explaining firewalls or scaring people with headlines. The point is to show decision-makers—business owners, public leaders, plant managers—how cybersecurity affects the things they care about: money, downtime, trust, and liability. We want to reframe it: this isn’t “IT’s job.” It’s a leadership issue. The way you respond sets the tone for everything that happens after a breach.

Audience: Business, Finance, Healthcare, Public Sector

The people responsible for keeping things running and staying out of the news.

Format: This isn’t a slide deck or a sales pitch. It’s a working lunch with a walk-through of a real incident, and we ask: “If this happened to you—what would you do?”

We’re trying to build a network of local organizations that don’t want to wait until something goes wrong to start asking questions. Join us. Let's build a stronger and more resilient region. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
