Summary

Join us for Full Arch Tech Night to advance your skills in modern dental technologies and procedures. Learn about the accuracy and speed of photogrammetry and intraoral scanning and see a CAD process demonstration. Review Implant case photos and x-rays, and understand the workup and surgical process, patient communication, and explore resources for patient care. Discuss pricing, financing options, and lab fees. This program equips dental professionals to provide top-tier full arch restoration care.

 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain insights into photogrammetry and intraoral scanning technology, focusing on their accuracy and speed compared to traditional methods, and learn the computer-aided design (CAD) process demonstrated by a lab technician.
  2. Review photos and x-rays of various implant cases to understand considerations for different case types and walk through the workup and surgical process for implant cases.
  3. Identify and understand the use of key restorative components, while examining demo prototypes and photos of the initial seated prototype and final zirconia prosthesis.
  4. Discuss the seating process, Maintenance requirements, and hygiene practices for prosthesis, along with understanding the referral process, patient communication and pricing.

Jeremy A. Edwards, DDS, ABOMS

Dr. Jeremy Edwards is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive expertise in dental implant surgery, advanced grafting, and full arch reconstruction. A Mustang, OK native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and received the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons award for outstanding achievement in the specialty. Dr. Edwards completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, serving as chief resident in his final year. His surgical training included complex bone augmentation, sinus lift procedures, and the placement of dental implants in a wide range of restorative scenarios, from single-tooth replacements to full arch immediate-load protocols. He is highly skilled in the collaborative planning and execution of comprehensive implant cases, providing patients with predictable, functional, and aesthetic results. In addition, his extensive training in office-based and hospital anesthesia ensures the highest level of patient safety and comfort.


David L. Miller, DDS, ABOMS

Dr. David Miller was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Edmond, OK. He received his DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry for 6 years before accepting an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He then completed his 4 year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Dr. Miller is highly skilled in the placement of dental implants and is particularly passionate about immediate implant workflows and fixed full-arch rehabilitation. His extensive training and surgical expertise allow him to deliver predictable, long-lasting outcomes for even the most complex restorative cases.


Seth R. Books, DDS, ABOMS

Dr. Seth Brooks is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced clinical training in full arch reconstruction surgery. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and completed a fellowship in Dental Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he provided general anesthesia and sedation for a wide range of surgical procedures. Dr. Brooks completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, with focused training in dental implant placement, complex bone grafting, and full arch rehabilitation. His surgical education also included rotations in internal medicine, surgical critical care, trauma, plastic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Brooks' background reflects a high level of clinical and surgical proficiency in the techniques and treatment planning involved in full arch reconstruction.
