During this time, teachers will engage in curriculum planning using Read 180 or 95%, analyze application data to inform instruction, organize student groups, design rotation schedules, set individual student learning goals, and coordinate with co-teachers. The purpose of this collaboration is to enhance instructional practices, promote consistency, and support student achievement in reading intervention.

The thinking classroom is the most transformative change to a learning environment I have experienced in 18 years of teaching science. I will share how I am trying to apply Peter Liljedahl's "Thinking Classroom" to science. The session will include sharing Peter's research using random small groups at vertical white boards where students are meaning makers. I will share videos of my current science students and teachers will have a short experience being part of a "Thinking Classroom".
