This year's symposium explores the evolution and trajectory of Voice AI through three temporal lenses, examining where we've been, where we stand, and where we're heading in voice-based healthcare innovation.

About

The Bridge 2AI Voice Symposium is more than a conference; it is an interactive and collaborative effort between three integral aspects which impact our understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML): people, ethics, and data. Submit your groundbreaking work for consideration to be a part of the 2026 Bridge 2AI Voice Symposium. Come join a global network of pioneers and collaborate with patients, scientists, clinicians, and industry. You play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI and ML. We will see you in sunny Tampa, Florida, May 4-6, 2026.

Important Dates

  • Symposium Dates: May 4-5, 2026
  • Hackathon Date: May 6, 2026
  • Submission Deadlines: December 5th, 2025
  • Notification of selection: January 15th, 2026

Formats

A single abstract type is being accepted. Once reviewed, if your abstract is accepted you will be notified which of the following formats it is accepted as:

  • Oral presentations
  • Poster presentations
  • Panel presentation

New This Year: Featured Events

  • Featured Events Category: Join us for the Battle of the Biomarkers, where researchers compete to showcase the most promising voice measures for clinical application, and The Great Debate, featuring experts arguing opposing sides of critical controversies shaping the future of voice AI and clinical practice.

Abstract Topic Areas: See below for list of suggested topic areas - please note that abstracts outside of these topic areas will also be considered based on merit and relevance to overall conference theme.

  • Suggested Topic Area 1: Data Collection and Analysis Evolution We invite submissions exploring voice data repositories, collection methodologies, analysis techniques, and recording technologies. Focus areas may include the Bridge2AI dataset as a clinically validated resource, multimodal data integration, source diversification, and the transition from isolated research datasets to integrated clinical systems.

  • Suggested Topic Area 2: Ethics and Responsibility in Voice AI Submissions should address ethical frameworks, policies, guidelines, and regulatory approaches in voice AI development and deployment. Special consideration for work examining scientist responsibility, forensic implications, autonomous systems including "the driverless doctor" concept, and biomarker applications in medicine.

  • Suggested Topic Area 3: Clinical Applications and Validation We seek submissions exploring voice AI reliability in clinical diagnostics and prediction across specific disorders and populations. Topics should address public health applications, health policy, accessibility, clinical validation, scalable implementations, clinician workflow optimization, home health solutions, and virtual screening technologies.

Featured events: If you are interested in being considered for one of our featured events below, please state this in your abstract.

  • Battle of the Biomarkers: Researchers compete to present compelling evidence for their voice biomarker or measurement approach, demonstrating its clinical validity, reliability, and potential for real-world application. Submissions should critically examine which vocal features—whether acoustic, aerodynamic, or imaging-based best capture pathology across single or multiple conditions. E.g., biomarker of Parkinson’s disease.
  • The Great Debate: Teams argue opposing positions on topics shaping the future of voice AI and clinical voice assessment, from autonomous diagnostic systems to data collection paradigms and annotation standards. Submissions should present evidence-based arguments that challenge current practices or defend established approaches within voice research and clinical care. E.g., recording in lab vs. wild

Submission Guidelines

No submission fee, however if accepted you will pay registration rates

Mandatory submission format: Abstracts must be 250 words or less, and must be formatted to include the following with a focus on scientific rigor:

  • Title
  • introduction
  • Approach/Methods
  • Preliminary findings/Results
  • Discussion, Conclusion and future directions
  • Only one abstract should be permitted per person
