This course is for technicians new to the field who have some basic knowledge of the A/C and Heat pump systems. We will be taking a deep look at the major system components and what they do. The Evaporator, Condenser, Metering device, Compressor and major Accessories will be examined and discussed. We will look at Superheat and Sub-cooling in depth as well as what they tell us about system operation. Class participants will learn what a PT chart tells us and why it's important.
