The purpose of the 2026 Michigan Medicaid School Services Program (SSP) Conference is to determine regional and State priorities and needs for SSP Medicaid. Also, to provide support and assistance to SSP Medicaid programs per the Interagency Agreement. Finally, to encourage conversation and new connections while problem solving and building relationships for opportunities to give your Intermediate School District a voice.
As of March 18th the Park Place Hotel is at capacity for overnight rooms. We have secured an overflow hotel at the Delamar Hotel nearby. Please use the following link for more details and to book: Michigan Medicaid School Services Program Conference

Every strong program has an origin story. Ours began with shared commitment, separate systems, and a growing realization that caring deeply for students was not enough. We needed alignment. In the early days, schools, Medicaid, and Community Mental Health were all working hard, but not always working together. Different rules, different responsibilities, and plenty of “Who owns this?” moments made it clear that intention had to become structured. Through deliberate collaboration, policy work, and honest conversations, the partnership with CMHCM evolved. Roles were clarified. Processes were refined. Safeguards were strengthened. What once felt fragmented became coordinated. This session tells the story of how C4S grew into a cohesive, compliant, integrity driven program. Not just where we are now, but how thoughtful alignment turned complexity into a system built to serve students well. |
