DFW Oral Surgeons Study Club is pleased to present:
Zirconia VS Titanium Implants: Evidence-Based Selection
Program summary: Titanium implants remain the clinical “workhorse,” but zirconia implants are gaining traction—driven by esthetic demands, soft-tissue considerations, titanium sensitivity concerns, and patient preference for metal-free options. This 90-minute, case-based lecture will compare zirconia and titanium implants through a practical restorative lens: material science that matters clinically, implant design and connection differences, osseointegration and soft-tissue behavior, complication patterns, and how prosthetic workflows change depending on the implant platform. Attendees will leave with clear indications, contraindications, and a decision framework they can use immediately when treatment planning implants in the esthetic zone and beyond.
