Emergency Trauma Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, and emergency clinicians from around Alaska come to the Anchorage area to continue their medical education by listening to speakers from around the country and their peers.
Southern Region EMS Council is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist EMS agencies within our region with sustainability, training, and equipping through several means, including mini-grants, capital equipment grants, technical expertise, and training for initial certifications, refreshers for EMS and AHA courses, and continuing medical education.
Pre-Conference days (November 3-4) are dedicated to certification classes and half- and full-day workshops.
The conference (November 5-7) is 3 days of 60-minute breakout sessions where attendees can listen to and interact with experts in their fields, increasing their knowledge to take back to their communities.
