MEET THE PRESENTERS
Bronwyn Walker, CRFE
Before joining Dini Spheris, Bronwyn initially served as Vice President of Advancement and subsequently as Chief Strategy Officer at Neuhaus Education Center. She began her fundraising career with Houston Habitat for Humanity, Houston Children’s Chorus, Asia Society Texas Center and Harmony Public Schools where she gained experience with annual campaigns, individual giving and special events. Bronwyn is a first-generation college graduate, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She earned a Leadership in Action Certificate from Rice University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Victor Brooks
As a project manager at Houston Methodist Hospital, Victor helped to develop the initial plans for the hospital’s $500 million centennial campaign. After becoming a major gifts officer, Victor helped create and lead multi-million-dollar initiatives at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center. Victor is a graduate of Rice University where he was also a member of the varsity football team. In 2020, he received the Builder’s Award, which honors young alumni who have made outstanding voluntary contributions to Rice since graduation. Victor is the immediate past- President of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals/AFP and chaired the 2024 AFP National Philanthropy Day event.
