Event Description:

The 2026 National Theme for Veterans Day is "Veterans Helping Veterans and Their Families".

Peer groups provide veterans with a space for shared identity and camaraderie, reduced isolation, and a safe space to share burdens and real-world advice on how to navigate civilian life and resources. Furthermore, spouses and family members, who often face heavy support and caregiving stress, benefit from dedicated spaces to build resilience and share challenges.
