APA's annual golf tournament will take place at the Starr Pass Golf Club, a 27-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf facility with a double-loaded driving range, rejuvenating 20,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and top-quality golf shop. The tournament will be a scramble format with a tee-off at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. You may make up your own foursome or APA will assign you to one. Prizes will be awarded to teams on a gross or net basis. The tournament fee is $190 per person and includes green fees and cart rental. Club rental is an additional $70. Transportation and lunch will be provided.

Ben's Bells Community Project

The mission of Ben's Bells is to teach individuals and communities about the positive impacts of intentional kindness and to inspire people to practice kindness as a way of life. Ben's Bells are beautiful ceramic wind chimes and are hung randomly throughout the community in public spaces for people to find and take home as a reminder to practice intentional kindness. Help mold, paint and assemble ceramic ornaments, jewelry and gifts. Transportation and lunch will be provided.

Mill safety and occupational health is everyone’s priority. But how is it actually achieved? This free APA Safety and Health Workshop will seek answers to that important question. Organized by the APA Safety and Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), the workshop will include guest speakers and an information-sharing forum designed to generate discussion of best practices and ideas for improving mill safety programs and performance records.
