Cadet Participants: $350.00 

Cadet Staff: $350.00 

Senior Staff: $175.00

In order to register for encampment: 

1. Have your required forms completed, signed and ready to upload (see below) before starting your registration as you will not be able to save your work. ALL Members must complete the:

- CAPF60-81 (APPLICATION FOR CAP ENCAMPMENT OR SPECIAL ACTIVITY)

The CAPF 60-81 requires a Squadron Commander signature prior to submission 

- CAPF160 (Health History Questionnaire)

- CAPF161(I) (Emergency Information)

- CAPF163 Cadets under 18 must complete in addition to all items above.

2. Students must meet the following requirements:

• Grade of C/Airman or above by the start of Encampment
• Have the approval of your Squadron Commander 
• Understand that individuals’ mobile phones will not be available during the encampment

3. If you are receiving a scholarship for encampment, please send your scholarship confirmation to ctg@cawgcadets.org or paula.urbom-shope@cawgcap.org (Major Urbom-Shope, Encampment Finance Officer) to request a registration code prior to registering.

4. If you do not have all the information for your registration such as your driver’s name and phone number, please continue but you must fill in this information as soon as it becomes available. The instructions to modify your registration will be in your confirmation email. 

Acceptance letters will be sent out in an email and will include all information necessary regarding Encampment including the packing list and reporting instructions. Check your CAWG email regularly for updates and additional information. Check your spam/junk folders as these emails sometimes land there.

Refund Policy: All refunds must be requested in writing with an explanation (email preferred) to Major Paula Urbom-Shope (paula.urbom-shope@cawgcap.org), the Encampment Finance Officer. Refunds are available for cadets who withdraw their application from Encampment before certain deadlines. Requests on or before 16 June 2023 may receive a full refund less a $10.00 processing fee. Partial (half) refunds are available for requests between 17 June 2023- 8 July, 2022 as items will already be purchased on their behalf. Withdrawals after 8 July 2023 are subject to the consideration of the Encampment Commander. Refunds based upon special circumstances will be decided by the Encampment Commander and Financial Officers.  

Absolutely no refunds will be made for failure to show up to the first day of encampment without prior notification. ALL refunds will be processed within five weeks following the end of encampment. All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee. Items that need to be purchased on behalf of the cadet during the week (socks, tennis shoes, boots, etc.) may need to be reimbursed. You will be notified and sent a bill.

Civil Air Patrol provides complimentary transportation between Camp Roberts and the local train station.
