Welcome to the 2023 N&D Advisory Committee Leadership Symposium!

On behalf of the N&D Advisory Committee, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 20th Annual Title I Neglected and

Delinquent Symposium. We appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to attend this event. The committee’s purpose is to assist and provide guidance to our Neglected and Delinquent community. We hope this symposium helps to fulfill that purpose.

As we welcome in a new year of educating our N&D children we likewise embrace a new venue for our symposium. It is exciting to be in a new locale and look forward to your feedback in the symposium survey. We have an exciting lineup of general sessions as well as numerous breakout sessions. We trust you will find workshops that meet your needs and assist you in providing engaging educational opportunities for our students.

Since we do not have any formalized meals together this year we encourage you to join with others when you go out for meals. The committee strongly believes in the power of networking and we hope this year it will continue. If you happen to notice someone that is attending the symposium alone that you extend an invitation for them to join you and your friends.

Please pay special attention to how to secure your CEU’s and don’t forget to fill out the survey you will receive on Wednesday, it really

does assist us in planning for next year. If you need anything during the conference please ask one of our committee members. However, you are on your own for room service!
