THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

Welcome to the website for Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International’s 2018 Annual Meeting, taking place Oct. 18-21 at the InterContinental San Francisco hotel, located in the heart of the South of Market district of The City by the Bay.

Here, you will find everything you need to know about attending this informative and fun event. Please scroll down to view the schedule and click on all the website's information pages that include hotel, travel, speaker, activities, sponsorship information. There is also a page that will allow you to print the brochures.

The 2018 Annual Meeting will mark the official launch of AMCA’s 2019-2021 strategic plan—the organizational priorities and operational goals that will guide the association for the next three years. On the agenda are interactive working sessions on the three pillars of the strategic plan—advocacy, education and training, and the Certified Ratings Program—giving attendees a say in how the plan is implemented. Of course, this being an AMCA Annual Meeting, the event will not be all work; attendees will have plenty of opportunities to network and to sample what San Francisco has to offer. Don’t miss what promises to be an empowering, enriching, and enjoyable experience.

When you are ready to register, simply click the "Register" red button. Please note a separate registration is required for each person attending. Be sure to select the appropriate attendee type for each new registration and note that a unique email address is needed for each registrant.

The 49 square miles of San Francisco are a colorful tapestry of steep hills, picturesque houses, clanging cable cars, fishing boats, summer fog, Chinese pagodas, cosmopolitan cafés, and breathtaking views. Five continents and three centuries blend together on 43 hills, waiting to be discovered. On this tour, you will see some of the legendary landmarks of “Everybody’s Favorite City,” including many of the following:

* The majestic Golden Gate Bridge, spanning the entrance to the San Francisco Bay

* Cafés and boutiques of San Francisco’s most prestigious neighborhoods

* The lush acres of Golden Gate Park

* North Beach

* Alamo Square (the famous “painted ladies”)

* The Cliff House, perched high above the waves of the Pacific Ocean

* Landmark skyscrapers of the Financial District, such as Transamerica Pyramid Center and 555 California Street, formerly Bank of America Center

* Bustling Fisherman's Wharf, with its steaming crab cauldrons, colorful fishing boats, and seafood restaurants overlooking the bay

A famous writer once declared, “Everyone should be allowed to love two cities: his own and San Francisco.” Discover for yourself why this is true. Lunch will be a fun stop at the SoMa StrEat Food Park, famed for its rotating lineup of food trucks.

Next, visit sparkling Sausalito, a Riviera-like bayside village with winding wooded streets, eclectic houseboats, unique boutiques, and art galleries.
