The 21st Century has witnessed marked advancements in all healthcare, including the field of rehabilitation. However, a number of the changes have occurred in unexpected arenas.

As with other specialties, advancements based upon new rehabilitative therapeutic technologies have occurred, in areas from electrotherapeutics, to computer-assisted locomotion. However, emerging rehabilitative approaches have also surprisingly evolved from reviewing established models of locomotor system function and providing innovative new methods of care based upon a fresh new insights regarding those models.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (“DNS”) is a21st Century rehabilitation method designed to emphasize improved motor control utilizing the human model of developmental kinesiology. By improving the earlier understanding of how humans gain control of their bodies in infancy, DNS practitioners find they can improve the quality of human locomotion.

Fascial Manipulation is another highly respected emerging rehabilitation model that dramatically updates the understanding of the human fascial system and provides comprehensive assessment and therapeutic approaches based upon those discoveries.

Motor Control Training (MCT) utilizes emerging understanding of nervous and musculoskeletal system interaction and provides cogent therapeutic methods based upon the current understanding of these interactions.

All three approaches have received enthusiastic support from rehabilitation programs globally, inspiring the formation of the following program.

The 2K19 International Congress for Integrated Rehabilitation (“2K19 Congress”) is designed to discuss three immensely popular global rehabilitation approaches by bringing leading authorities in their respective fields to Los Angeles for two-day Pre-Congress courses and workshops and two days of lectures and discussions.

Leading international authorities on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Fascial Manipulation, and Motor Control Training will congregate at the beautiful and recently-renovated Los Angeles LAX Hyatt Regency Hotel (the closest hotel to Los Angeles International Airport) to discuss their research, their findings, and their relevant applications and clinical methods.

As they listen to the others, what will they learn? In what areas will their approaches overlap or integrate with the others and, perhaps more interestingly, where will they disagree or diverge?

Continuing education hours (CE hours) will be available for most states and several rehabilitation professionals.

(More information regarding available CE hours will be posted in early 2019, as hours must be requested within one year of the scheduled program.)

Please join us for the 2K19 Congress. There is early international interest from rehabilitation specialists globally and we expect this event to sell out.
