Learn how to create and use natural dyes from items you can find in your own kitchen and backyard. This class will be held over the course of several weeks. When you sign-up, you will be provided a materials list of items you will need, access to a private chat server where you can discuss the course to connect, ask questions and share your dye journey with other members of the June Dye Cohort and with instructor Laura. You will receive five video links of course material that will provide an introduction to dyeing that goes over supplies needed and set up, how to process dyes and dyestuff, dye bath prep and yarn dyeing, washing out and drying methods, and a concluding video of what you can do after. You will have two weeks to progress through the video lessons on your own time. After that, all participants will be able to participate in a live stream workshop and question and answer session with Laura on YouTube. Class fee is $15.
